If you’re looking for some good online games to play with your friends with voice chat on or with randoms you muted because you’re tired of hearing them try to eat their mics, you’ve come to the right place. Today, I’m going to show you the best online games of 2021 and 2022.

OVERWATCH 2

We’re off to a good start because the first game I’m going to show you is Overwatch 2, which came out a few weeks ago and is a 5v5 team-based game. It looks great, is very well optimized, and is fun to play even if you’re not very good at aiming. This is because it has a lot of Heroes that are split into three classes: tank damage, damage, and support, so you could basically pick a medic to keep healing a good player and give them easy assists. Oh, and the game can be played on both PC and Series X, so I had my brother come over and we pretty much played it all day. Oh, and you can play the game with other people, so we had a great time. So, I guess that’s why they gave it away for free. Now let’s play a game that doesn’t cost anything but is definitely worth it because

Ghostbusters: Spires Unleashed is a movie.

At number 2 is Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, an asymmetrical 4v1 game where you can either play as a new Ghostbuster recruit in first-person view or as The Ghost and stop the building from a third-person view. You can scare people, hunt for things, and even take possession of them, which is sick. Be careful not to get caught by the Ghostbusters, though, because they have a ghost meter and can set a trap and use their proton pack to catch you. The movie Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed backs Cross-play: The graphics are good, and you can play with bots if you want, but they’re really stupid, so it’s not nearly as fun as playing with real people. CHIVALRY 2

Chivalry 2 is just what you need if you’re Justin and you want to be in charge of people. It’s easy to learn and a lot of fun to play. The graphics are just okay, which is a shame because they could have looked amazing. By the way, if you don’t like the first-person view, you can also play the game from a third-person perspective. If you’re a man and want to fight like a man, you can choose a melee class, or you can play as an archer and get easy kills while hiding like a little mouse. If you’re into this kind of thing, you can play Ashes of the Singularity, which is already out on PC and will be on consoles soon. If you’re not into medieval stuff and want something more modern, you can play Mordheim.

COD: MODERN WARFARE 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a better game for you. What did I do there? But if I’m being honest, Modern Warfare 2 is a lot of fun to play, even though I usually prefer Battlefield because I like destroying environments. This is especially true if you like emptying clips into [ . Other than its cinematic action-packed campaign, the game has a lot of different game modes, such as ground war, prisoner rescue, and the more traditional TeaDeathmatch. MOTIVERSUS

The fifth game I want to show you is multiverses, which is similar to Super Smash Bros. but doesn’t have any Nintendo characters. You can play 1v1, 2v2, or 3 for all with random people or, better yet, with your friends. I played the game with strangers at first, and then I played with my wife, and as you can see, we beat everyone. Since we’re talking about co-op, let’s talk about

SECOND EXTINCTION

Second Extinction is a three-player cooperative game that comes in at number six. I don’t know if you’ve heard of it, but it’s been in early access for a few years, and it’s finally getting a full release. It’s on my list because Python Mutated Dinos with Friends is fun, but the early access version is so basic that it gets old fast. The full release of Second Extinction adds a new biome, new missions, and new dinosaurs, so if you have a PC or Xbox, you might want to check it out. If you don’t like killing dinosaurs and would rather fight demons, however, you might not want to.

EVIL DEAD

You might like the seventh game on my list. Evil Dead could have been a great single-player horror game, but instead they made it a 4v1 online game where you can play as a survivor without your three friends and work together, or you can play as the candarian demon who says that some traps scare the [___] out of the survivors, possess them, and even turn them against each other. If you play Evil Dead with the right people, you’re sure to have a good time. If you’re looking for something like “Dead Man’s Party” or “Friday the 13th,” go ahead and give it a sh. The next game on my list is Alien’s Fire, which is a must-have. Team Elite is almost the best game on thino, no, I’m joking, it’s just average at best.

NARAKA BLADEPOINT

So, the real game I’m going to show you is Naraka Blade Point, which is a 60-player PVP Battle Royale game with close-quarters and long-distance weapons based on martial arts. It’s different and has a lot of fish problems, so I’m not sure if it’s worth $20. I think it should be free to play, like most Battle Royale games, but I got it for free through Game Pass, so I can’t complain. Also, the game isn’t perfect, but the jiggle physics are cool, so let’s take a look.

FIFA 23

This is the ninth game on my list, and it’s for people who like sports games. I chose FIFA 23, but you could have chosen NBA 2K23, Madden, or something else. No, you are not looking at FIFA 22 or FIFA 21. Guys, come on, can’t you see that the grass isn’t the same? No, really, it’s pretty much the same game, but the roasters have been updated. BATTLEFIELD 2042

Battlefield 2042 was in bad shape when it came out. It had terrible performance, servers that were slow, and a huge number of bugs, but after a few updates, and especially after the Season 1 update came out, it got a lot better. The new maps are great, but this Battlefield doesn’t really focus on destruction like the others did, and instead of classes, it has operators. But it’s still fun to play, and you can get it for very little money now. If you like what you see and can get a copy for $30 or less, you should get it.
